Have you ever been on a beach and wonder what lies on the other side of the ocean? Just imagine, if you went straight across the waves and kept going, where would you end up at? Well, Eric Odenheimer designed a map that tells you exactly that, wherever you are in the world.
The map, originally featured on Knowmore.Washingpost.com, cleverly uses a scale to mark the neighboring areas. Now, we do have to mention that many minor islands were left out of the map for simplicity sake. But otherwise it is a great tool to quickly let you know what lies just over there….
