I’ve heard bikers refer to it as “Road Rash”, but it’s easy to imagine the abrasive properties of asphalt when an object comes into contact with it at a high speed. In fact, this motorcycle footpeg didn’t stand a chance when you apply it to fast moving asphalt under the weight of the bike. Just like a grinder, but much harder to avoid.
