The Groundfridge

Everybody knows that a cave keeps more or less a constant temperature, substantially less than the surface of the Earth on a hot summer day. The natural insulation of the surrounding materials keep it that way, without the need for energy expensive solutions above the ground. The constant 50-54 degree temperature is perfect for storing all manner of food stuffs, include vegetables, fruit, wine, and cheese. More info can be found here.
