Benkatine Turbine Can Make Power From Rain Gutters and Toilet Flushes
Monday, 4 August 2008
Written by: Greg Chaffins

Water flows into a household, and waste water flows out - that simple scenario is repeated every day in millions of households across the country.  But that moving water requires energy to move it, and the Benkatine Turbine is a device that lets you reclaim some of that energy.

The Hydroelectric turbine can generate usable electricity from any flowing water source moving through its pipes, and that includes:

  • waste water
  • fresh water
  • industrial output
  • rain gutters (I have often thought about doing something with that one)
  • water runoff
  • and more

The Benkatine Turbine comes in different sizes to match the application at hand.
