Today Rocks Out With Rock Band

Rock  Band has become a huge hit, and so I was not totally surprised to find the Today crew putting together an ad hoc concert on the plaza using Rock Band Gear.  We had Meredith attempting to sing lead vocals, AL on drums, Matt on guitar, and finally Natalie also on guitar. 

The four took a turn at Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer, and to say that they did the song justice would be a horrible abuse of writing - they did not.  However, it does show how far this game has permeated into our culture.   Even when they broke from the segment to go to Willard (Meredith did not want to stop the jamming), Willard was holding a rock band guitar leading up to the Smucker segment.  This leads to two conclusions, either Rock Band was seriously paying for some quality screen time, or we can call it proof that the game is definitely part of our culture.
