With this device you can detect Beta, Gamma, and X-ray sources. The unit is easy to use, and a quick power on shows an immediate reading on the screen.
There are alarms for safety, and they can be assigned using audio, vibration, voice, and an alert LED. This allows anyone to use the device as needed. There is also a dosimeter included so you know how much of a threat that antique desert ware pottery you found at a yard sale really presents (or more dire uses, of course.)
The unit is connected by a standard USB-C port, allowing for quick data dumps with a wide variety of devices. The unit is calibrated to meet USA national standards (NIST & NRC), so you know the readings can be trusted, and the memory can store data collection for up to 10 years.
The battery is both rechargeable and replaceable, allowing for versatile use in the field. In this way you won’t have to worry about the battery going dead and bricking the device. The display is a large clear TFT color LCD, and during use you can stand it landscape or portrait, or lay it flat as the scenario warrants.
