Anti-Glare LED Light DEsgiend to Help With Night Glare

Driving at night can be difficult if sudden oncoming lights hit you while your eyes are adjusted to only the light from your headlights.  The Anti-Glare LED Panel is designed to help with that by giving you a slightly higher ambient light level, reducing the need for your eyes to adjust to the sudden oncoming lights.

The German engineered ambient driving light is designed to mount to the roof  of the vehicle above the driver. The unit has light sensors to automatically adjust the level of brightness for the current driving conditions, or you can manually adjust the light.  The concept is great, and I can see how it could definitely work on a road that gets a fair amount of traffic.

The question I have is, by slightly shrinking your pupils from the higher ambient light levels, it could be argued that your eyes are slightly less sensitive on open, empty roads.  But then that is when sudden oncoming headlights would be the most uncomfortable, so I guess it is a tossup in such conditions.

The Anti-Glare LED Panel is a bit pricey at $360, and you can find it at Pro-Idee
