Custom cathode ray tube clocks are very stylish and pricey

Sometimes something retro can actually look new, and it seems to be case with the Scope Clock.  Created by Cathode Corner's David Forbes, the clock incorporates both cathode ray tubes and acrylic construction.

The display can be set to analog or digital, and it features a very modern GPS connectivity for getting the exact time.  The back sports enough knobs and  settings to make any nerd feel at home, and overall the unit has a very classic look to it.  The pictures are from the prototype, but the makers anticipate having them ready for limited consumption soon.  Of course, this much hand spun class is not cheap, and the clocks are are priced at $999.
