Department of Homeland Security UFO Conspiracy?

Well, this is an interesting chain of events. On the first full day after releasing UFO Adventure, I found a visitor in the logs from, of all sources, the Department of Homeland Security. And what kind of browser were they running, you ask? Just one word – “RIPPERS”.

While I don’t want to spin any conspiracy theories here, I think it is fun to look at the facts. After 5 years of having the site up, I have never noticed this kind of traffic. Yet on the first day after releasing an iOS UFO game, I am graced the by the government funded rippers. For the record, the screenshots are from StatCounter, and outside of the annotations and cropping there have been no other edits. (Well, I did black out the IP Address too… )

Now you are going to have to excuse me – I think I see some black helicopters circling overhead, and I really need to make a backup of those UFO pictures to an off-site secured volume. In the meanwhile, can anyone explain to DHS exactly what an adventure game is? It’s just a game, honest…
