This is a cool concept of a planter for your favorite green friend, one that has a digital face showing the current plant growth environment. The pot has sensors that monitor soil conditions, temperature, and humidity. By taking these measurements, along with the type of plant that is being hosted, a happy or sad plant state is calculated and displayed.
The display includes male and female faces, along with icons showing if it is too hot, too cold, or dying of thirst. It is a cool concept, but I am not sure if I want my plant to be scowling at me from across the room. Having a demanding plant may not be the best way to maintain a healthy relationship between keeper and plant. But then I guess I should take this in stride, before all plants become digitally sentient and, along with robotic help, take over the world.
