Epson recently showed off its prototype display featuring e-Ink. The interesting thing about this display is its resolution, which is 3104 x 4128. In other words, the e-paper is about the equivalent of 385 ppi. The picture above does not do it justice, this is one very crisp display. While not on the market yet, this is the type of display that could permanently put e-paper as the de-facto standard.
