I press on the throttle and the vehicle roars to life, thanks no doubt to the large jet engine powering this beast. Suddenly I am moving along at a fast clip, with the sand and rocks flashing by in a kaleidoscope of colors. I throttle on down ever so slightly more and everything turns to a blur. The big black beast eats up the smooth sand like a starving wolf, pulling me with it as it leaps for its next bite. This is one Beach find I plan on keeping.
Anyone that has seen the 1989 Batman movie knows that one of the major stars was indeed the Batmobile. While the newest form of the movie Batmobile is a utilitarian powerhouse, this version is sleek, long, and powerful, being 20 ft long and 8 ft wide. The good news is that one of the actual cars built for the movie (number five to be exact) is for sale on Ebay. The bad news is that at a starting price of $500k it might be just a bit beyond most folk's automobile budget. But it does lend itself well to a commercial: Batmobile, $500k. Designer Threads, $1000. The look on your classmates face when you pull up to the class reunion, priceless.

UPDATE: It looks like the Joker has a trick up his sleeve since the Batmobile is no longer for sale on Ebay. That's okay, maybe the new tumbler Batmobile will show up soon on auction.
