You pull up to the pumps, and there beside each other are the diesel and gas (petrol, if you will) nozzles, each dispensing fuel but one is not compatible with your vehicle. Now, have you ever grabbed the wrong nozzle by mistake? Apparently around 150,000 motorists do every year (that amazes me).
The Fuel Checker can act as a second opinion on your fueling activities. You simply attach it to your fueling flap area, and hold the nozzle up to the sensor before fueling. IF the sensor reads green, you can fill'er up. If the sensor reads red, then put down the nozzle and step away from the vehicle.
