To go along with the recent Giant Keyboard, Nerd Beach presents The Giant Overhead Clock, designed by Realities:United. The clock is made up of overhead lights that form a very large seven segment display, and the time is displayed and updated every minute.
While really cool for a certain look, I am not sure if it is practical since the light source for the room would be shifting, creating less than ideal work conditions for desk workers. Other than that, I am really intrigued by the concept of using a pre-existing fixture (the lights) to deliver information.
