Google Halloween Doodles Through The Years (InfoGraphic)

One of the nice things about holidays on the online world, are the doodles that Google place on their home page to celebrate them. Over the years we have seen many different doodles, covering many different holidays in many different countries.

But since this is Halloween, I thought it would be fun to look at the different Halloween doodles that Google has given us through the years. It interesting to note that the Halloween doodles have come in groups. Starting in 1999, we had pumpkins featured for three years. After that, the doodles included a fun graphic with a full moon in common. Then we had three years of art work before, starting in 2009, an interactive display that was fun to tinker with. That continued with Scooby Doo in 2010, and a cool video this year showing pumpkin carving.

I hope this trend continues, and can only imagine what the minds at Google will come up with for next year. I would bet that an interactive doodle is here to stay. Thanks for the fun, Google.
