Look, it's a plane. It's a bird. It's a Nike Swoosh? It very well could be your favorite sport logo, floating like a cloud at an event near you. Flogos, developed by special effects company SnowMasters, are flying logos comprised of a special 100% environmentally safe soap foam filled with helium. The Flogos can fly for up to hour, and if the wind conditions are right they can travel up to 20,000 feet while covering an area over 20 miles wide.
Currently Snowmasters have a Flogo machine that can create logos up to 48 inches in size while generating one every 15 seconds. If that isn't entertaining enough, the company is working on a whopping 6 ft Flogo generator. I wonder if they can take shapes on demand – it would be cool to have a hundred Federation, Romulan, and Klingon ships floating over the Beach. Just because.
