Life Clock counts years, not hours

The most unique feature about the Life clock, designed by Bertrand Planes,  is that the dial is marked with years, not hours.  The clock mechanism has been slowed down 61,320 times in order to count those years on the face of the clock.

I am a little disappointed that the clock only shows 82 years, but maybe it can be considered a line in the sand (or on the wall) to beat.  There were only 7 of the clocks made, so buying one at this point is not an option.  Neither is sitting and watching the hands move, we would imagine.
