Lingo Navigator Speaks the Local Language

LingoNavigator

The visitor to the Beach speaks in a language that I cannot understand. The man asks again, and I shrug, feeling more ignorant than usual.  Then suddenly I remember the Beach Find that I had just picked up, and I reach into my back pocket to retrieve it.  By pushing and twisting on the unit I select the phrase I want, and the device responds in a completely clear human voice. Soon I am communicating with the visitor as we pass the unit back and forth for a complete, if not slow, two sided conversation.

The real importance of being prepared while traveling cannot be underestimated, and Lingo makes a great tool to help when in a foreign country (or other places that you might need translation).  The $70 Lingo Navigator gives you 9,00 phrases and 30,000 words in twelve languages (English, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, Japanese, Spanish, and Russian), but the real kicker is that it can play the words in a completely clear human voice.  The device also gives you an alarm clock and a currency converter, as well as sightseeing information for twelve countries. The only thing it needs now is a map.

Aloha from the Beach
