Want to get together a few of your SOCOM gaming buddies and play a round? How about 250 of your gaming buddies? Sony and Zipper Interactive have announced MAG:Massive Action Game (project title, real name could be forthcoming) that supports eight squads ( 32 teams in a full 256 player match) in a gaming free for all. The players can reportedly build up their soldier avatars as they play the game.
Andy Beaudoin from Zipper Interactive has said that the game will be pushing the limits of Sony's PS3 hardware (not to mention the online connection, I would imagine). More information on MAG will be forthcoming.
