OLPC XO 2.0 Computer is Almost a Double Screen Book

 xoxo_laptop_150dpi

The  OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) XO 2.0 (XOXO, if you will) Notebook computer has a screen, two of them – but no keyboard. Instead one of the touch sensitive screens doubles as a keyboard (of practically any layout you want) when it is folded like a laptop. At other times the XOXO can be used like a standard open face book.

I have to say, I really like this design.  It blurs the line between book and computer, and that is in my opinion a good thing. Besides the unique screen arrangement, the XOXO is built like a piece of luggage on the outside, soft to the touch and free of expansion ports. Designed by  Yves Béhar, expect it to be available to users sometime in 2010, and with a target price of $75!.
