Greg Chaffins Creating shadow puppets, those amazing shadows made from holding your hands in front of a light source, has been an art form for many years.
In fact, and I may be totally wrong about this, I imagine ancient cavemen entertaining fellow hunters after a hard day with finger shadows of different beasts in front of that new invention, fire.
Well, maybe not that, exactly, but Modern Mechanix did have a fascinating article about creating cool shadow puppets back in 1930. Here you can find how to create a wide range of shadow creatures, from a small bird to an elephant.
Looking at the diagram I think this could probably be termed, “Finger calisthenics for fun and profit” but I digress. Happy Shadow Puppeting!
