Sound From Wind Generates Music As You Ride

sound_wind3

I am sure that many of us, in our younger years perhaps, had bicycles with something in the spokes to create a cool motor sound.  No doubt many also had horns, bells, and other means of noise generation to add to the experience of riding the bike.

But now that we are "grown up" we often do not take the time to ride a bike, little alone try to make it more fun.  Maybe that is the problem, by making it not so fun we lost some of the motivation to ride more. The Sound From Wind, designed by Joseph Kim, may help to correct that problem.

The Sound From Wind bicycle accessory, for lack of a better term, mounts on the handlebars. As you ride the wind is picked up and forced through the chambers, creating music similar to an ocarina. You can control the sound by pressing on keys, and the faster you go, the richer the sound – within reason, of course. The Sound From Music is almost as cool as cards in the spokes, and lot more sophisticated in the area of bicycle equipment.
