Uniden has introduced its new Trax GPS units, and the feature that you would probably notice first is the outstanding 3D graphics. The unit's "Landmark Technology" features key landmarks that can be viewed in 3d from any angle of approach. In select areas contours and rises in the road are also shown in 3D.
The Trax GPS line is not a slouch in other areas either, offering text to speech for street names, integrated Bluetooth capabilities, multiple route support, and an early warning safety system for speed. The top of the line Trax 436 goes one step farther by incorporating an Integrated Traffic Monitoring Channel Receiver(TMC), offering automated route diversion for those who sign up for the service.
