The miShake portable media player (PMP) is a more unique player. Aimed at the iPod Nano market, it features a 2.4 inch TFT display, built in loudspeaker (that is handy), shocktronix for navigation, microSD slot, FM Radio, and audio recorder.
The Shocktronix is an application of the unit's built in motion sensors that allows control of songs, basic navigation, and even turn the pages of ebooks.
On top of that it also features as a pedometer, which no doubt would endear it to its target market (another use of the built in motion sensors no doubt). The combination of loudspeaker, motion control, and pedometer really makes this PMP stand out in the crowd.
The versatile miShake is set to retail for £120.
