Offical White House Disclosure

In November 2011, the White House released an official response to two petitions asking the U.S. government to acknowledge formally that aliens have visited Earth and to disclose any intentional withholding of government interactions with extraterrestrial beings. According to the response, "The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race." Also, according to the response, there is "no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye." The response further noted that efforts, like SETI, the Kepler space telescope and the NASA Mars rover, continue looking for signs of life. The response noted "odds are pretty high" that there may be life on other planets but "the odds of us making contact with any of them—especially any intelligent ones—are extremely small, given the distances involved."

Where to Spot a UFO (InfoGraphic)

Have you ever wondered which state would be best to spot a UFO? The infographic below looks at sightings from 1994 to 2011, and picks out the top 10 states, along with the number of sightings. From the numbers, California is the UFO hotspot, but there are others to look at as well.

It might be interesting to take the sighting numbers and compare it against the number of residents. Until then, enjoy the infographic. I find it interesting to note that the most popular states for sightings are all border states.

UFOs Captured on Google Earth

Google Earth is a snapshot, or rather of series of snapshots, that covers the globe. So, if there were anything suspicious in the line of UFO activity, it should have been captured by the process (assuming, of course, that anything found wasn't scrubbed by the military long before the images were released).

Going with the theory that something could have been picked up, we have a video showing what appears to be UFOs present in the sky shots from Google Earth.
