What if you had a camera with you at all times, and it could sense emotional or important moments in your life and automatically took a picture to remember it by? That is the concept behind the Camoria, a digital emotion sensing camera concept designed to be worn over the ear. The Camoria was designed by Akbiyik Volkan from Stuttgart, Germany as a bachelor thesis.
Of course, since you are wearing the automatic camera there would be no pictures of you in the photos, but that might be the best strategy. The last thing you would probably want is pictures of yourself at a bad moment, and the whole concept would quickly turn into a series of face shots.
I am not certain if I would like such a device, but in a world where MySpace and blogs have millions of people sharing personal life experiences it would no doubt find a market and complement what is already in place. At the moment it is only a concept device, but manufacturers are being sought out. More information can be found On the Designer's website.
