Lubbock, Texas, 1951 August 31 The famous "Lubbock Lights". Despite being witnessed by at least 100 people, many who gave testimony otherwise, years later skeptics would somehow come to the conclusion that the unexplained lights in the sky were birds (?). The picture was taken by 18 year old student Carl Hart Jr.
