1952 Washington D. C. The White House in Washington, DC has had its shares of reported encounters with UFOs. On July 19, 1952 Washington National Airport and Andrews Air Force Base picked up a number of UOFS on their radar screen. The photograph shown was taken about that time above the Capitol, and similar sightings were reported above the Pentagon. A wave of sightings in the area starting on that day remain unexplained.
