It has been proven that proper application of CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) can greatly increase the chances of a victim surviving. Designer Ryan Helps developed the "CPR-PAD" to help with delivering CPR first aid. The unit has alignment tabs for placement on the victim's chest, clicks when the proper pressure is applied, and flashes a light to show the optimal rhythm to do the compressions. The CPR-PAD may help to save a life, and it also could work as a great training aid for when the first aid kit is not available.
