The S10 (and other laptops) run hot, no other way to describe it. The measured temperatures for the S10 keyboad and pad area run between 38 and 42°C (100.4 and 107.6°F). While it is definitely not unusual for a laptop to run warm, the S10 will no doubt keep your fingers nice and toasty as you type. The sad news is that the heat is powered by the battery, so as it heats up your running time cools down. And this is nothing unique to the S10, in all fairness.
