Extreme sport enthusiasts are constantly tweaking their gear, often coming out with new ways to get their thrills. Orbitwheels are a new type of gear, similar to the 360 we looked at before but with independent foot movements. The best way to describe them are a cross between inline skates and a skateboard.
Orbitwheels are a design in simplicity, with no breakdown or setup required. The two thin wheels can easily be carried or fit into a backpack. To ride you simply step into the hoops and off you go (assuming you have given some thought to protective gear).
After watching the video, it seems like there should be some way of attaching the foot to the wheels to allow for more aggressive stunts, but given that skateboards manage to trick without an attachment this might not be an issue. The wheels certainly look like fun.
