It seemed that there was always a quick way to tell Blackberrys from the crowd – they were not of the clamshell design, and they had the tiny but full keyboard on the bottom half of the face. Now, both of those quick indicators might be obsolete. Recently Rim debuted a clamshell BlackBerry, and now there are rumors of a full touch screen model.
The BlackBerry Thunder (Blackberry 9500) is scheduled to be launched Q3 of this year, and sports only four physical keys, the rest all works via the touch screen. The phone is slated to be a Verizon and Vodafone exclusive, and is a CDMA EVDO Rev C hybrid device. Wow, who said that the iPhone was not going to influence Rim?
