Here at the Beach there seems to be little indication of Global Warming, but nonetheless it is a trend that is taking the global community by storm. In Japan we have a new effort, called "My Chopsticks", which basically encourages the customer (some by offering discounts) to bring their own chopsticks to eat with instead of the restaraunt providing them (which are then discarded). Some places even provide a washing service for your chopsticks, while the Marche group of restaraunts are offering a chopstick keep system, where they store your chopsticks for your next visit. I wonder, if you are willing to eat with only your hands, do you still get the discount?
