With a nice, cool drink in my hand, I settle back on the bed and watch the world swim by. Gently moving forms enter from the sides that wrap around me, and now I can see a small school of fish going, swimming by with each member keeping in perfect synchronized form. As I watch the undersea kingdom laid out about me I fall asleep, dreaming that I am part of it, floating effortlessly as I drift to new destinations.
The Poseidon Undersea Resort located on Poseidon Mystery Island may give you a resort stay unlike anything you have been accustomed to having. The resort, located in Fiji, offers to the most discriminating traveler a week stay, two days of which are in the underwater hotel. Also at the guest's disposal are a 1000 ft Triton submarine, beach bungalows for the above surface time, underwater library ( I wonder how many copies of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea they have?), wedding chapel, and of course fashionable restaurants. The price for the underwater sojourn, which may feel like a few atmospheres squeezing you, is $15,000. However, it is a vacation that deserves to be called an adventure, if not expensive.
